LW RF Studio 1.2.1 for macOS (osx-x64, Intel)
=========================================

Install
-------
1. Drag "LW RF Studio.app" to the Applications folder.
2. This build is not signed by Apple yet. The first time, macOS says the app "cannot be opened" or "is damaged".
Remove the download mark once, in Terminal:

       xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/LW RF Studio.app"

(or: Control-click the app > Open > Open; on macOS 15 and later: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway).
3. Start LW RF Studio from Applications or Launchpad.

Take the build that matches the Mac: osx-arm64 for Apple silicon (M1 and later), osx-x64 for Intel Macs.

openEMS (the simulation engine)
-------------------------------
openEMS (free software, GNU GPL v3) is not part of this package: install it separately, see
https://docs.openems.de/install.html (build from source; the build script installs to ~/opt/openEMS).
LW RF Studio looks for the program "openEMS" in, in this order:

    ~/opt/openEMS/bin, ~/openEMS/bin, ~/openEMS, /opt/openEMS/bin, /usr/local/bin, /opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/bin, then the PATH

An app started from the Finder does not see the PATH of your shell: if openEMS is elsewhere, use
Tools > Locate openEMS in the program, or link it into one of the folders above.

Command line
------------
The command line tool is inside the app:

    "/Applications/LW RF Studio.app/Contents/MacOS/LWRFStudioCli" --help

KiCad plugin
------------
The folder kicad-plugin/lw_antenna_check is the LW Antenna Check plugin. Install it from KiCad's Plugin and Content
Manager, or copy the folder to ~/Documents/KiCad/<version>/scripting/plugins (for example ~/Documents/KiCad/9.0/...)
and use Tools > External Plugins > Refresh Plugins in the PCB editor. It finds the app in /Applications or ~/Applications.
